Scrapbook Store Visit - Memory Lane PA

Filed under: Scrapbook Tips and Techniques — Andrea M. on Wednesday, June 7, 2006

Ahhh…  A guilty pleasure…  Stopping in at a scrapbooking store on a rainy day.

It’s a sure way to cure the rainy day blahs, and today was no exception!

The store owner, Rollie, was as gracious as ever.  She showed me a project she was making for her son’s teacher.  It was a book made from chipboard.  She had covered each page with decorative paper and then just used a sanding block to trim the paper to the right size.  The edges of the pages were lined up perfectly with the edges of the chip board.  Who knew?

I’m so fortunate to have such a wonderful store to visit close by.  Shopping at the craft super-stores (like Michaels or A.C.Moore) just don’t compare.
