Hand Coloring Photos

Marshalls Photo Oils are a different type of oil paint than you may have seen or used. They were specifically developed to be transparent so that they could be used to add color to black and white photos. Begin by purchasing one of Marshalls Transparent Oil Handcoloring sets and/or Pencil sets. Squeeze a pea size drop of each oil color onto your palette. Apply the oils sparingly to your photo, using 100% cotton applicators or swabs. Just erase with a cotton ball or plastic eraser if you dont like something and try again.
